Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install GPS devices in my vehicles?
No. The location comes from the driver’s phone with the Busbanz app open during the route. That’s why driver training is part of the rollout.
Can the school see the routes?
Yes. The school has its own access to see the routes that carry its students and their history.
What do families see?
They see the vehicle on the map, who is driving and who is on board, get alerts when the route is close and when it arrives, and can report that their child isn’t riding that day.
What happens if the signal drops on the way?
Sending the location needs mobile data. In areas without coverage the map pauses and updates as soon as the phone gets signal back.
How much does it cost?
